A beautiful day was enjoyed to the fullest extent at the wedding of Mark and Hilary at their home in Eumundi. The garden was sparkling and the ceremony very special for them and their 90 guests.
They decided to incorporate Opera singer Michelle Bull with her beautiful soprano voice, to stir the soul and express emotions in a way that words can not.
We began the ceremony with a pause to return to silence and become fully present to focus on and honour the depth of the love that exists between them and continued with a traditional blessing of the union with the four directions, North South East and West.
The Vows were their own words and highlighted the depth of the commitment they have made to each other in a personal, joyful and deeply moving way.
I left the guests sipping on champagne after listening to Michelle sing the traditional New Zealand song ‘Pokarekare Ana”.
The festivities were sure to be lots of fun and the food served by Matt from Gibsons was superb.
